Mastermind Masonry has been building hardscape and masonry across the Austin metro since 2018. Today we’re still small enough that Nathan answers the phone, walks every property, and is on every job site.

Our story
Started in 2018.Still laying stone.
Nathan started this crew years ago doing landscape work and slowly pivoted into the harder, slower craft — paver patios, retaining walls, flagstone paths, outdoor rooms. We re-named to Mastermind Masonry to match the work we wanted to be known for.
We don’t skip the boring parts. Base prep, drainage, geo-grid, edge restraint — that’s where ninety percent of the failures happen on other crews’ jobs, so that’s where ninety percent of our day goes. The pretty part on top is the easy part if the part underneath is built right.
Voted #1 in Round Rock three years running. Most of our work comes from a neighbor pointing over the fence. We’d like to keep it that way.
